グラタンに d-i の移植？

Debianメンテナのtbm氏から、d-iを移植してもいいけどマシンを貸し出せるかという短いメールが来る。
でも、直接bootするような仕組みを持たないし、redbootのhackになるからレイヤー違うのよね。
返事はこんな感じか。

Hi tbm,

Thank you for interest to GLAN Tank.

We give you sample hardware, may be OK.
But, GLAN Tank can't boot CD-ROM device, nothing Floppy interface, and can't read USB devices from boot loader.
If you want to run d-i, you must hack redboot IPL.
And No VGA device, but can add serial console by extension.
Now we killed function of network for redboot, Then it is not tested.

There is no way to use d-i.
Do you have any idea?
