We renamed the Linaro Android builds. Now when you look at https://android-build.linaro.org/ you'll see the much longer, but hopefully more clear names:

snowball-ics-gcc46-igloo-stable-blob
vexpress-ics-gcc46-armlt-stable-open
origen-ics-gcc46-samsunglt-stable-blob
imx53-ics-gcc46-freescalelt-stable-open
panda-ics-gcc46-tilt-stable-blob
panda-ics-gcc46-kwg-upstream-open
panda-ics-gcc46-tilt-tracking-blob
panda-ics-gcc46-omapzoom-stable-blob

panda-master-gcc44-aosp-stable-blob
panda-ics-gcc44-aosp-stable-blob
The first field is the name of the board.

The second field is the name of the Android we're building. You'll notice a -master name. This is the AOSP master branch. This build is the tip of the universe.

The third field is the toolchain that was used to compile Android. We do both 4.6 and 4.4.

The forth field is where we got the kernel from. Here's the decoder ring:
igloo - http://www.igloocommunity.org/
armlt - Linaro's ARM team
samsunglt - Linaro's Samsung team
freescalelt - Linaro's Freescale team
tilt - Linaro's TI team
omapzoom - omapzoom
aosp - aosp

The fifth field is what type of kernel this is. A tracking kernel tracks Linus's tip (cool ehh, how do we do it and keep our hair so shiny). A stable kernel is, well, stable. Its typically linked to the binary blobs that we spend most of our time dealing with.

The 6th field indicates how the various blocks are enabled. Either using binary blobs or 'open' code.

If you have questions, please send a mail to linaro-android@lists.linaro.org or chat live with one of our helpful Android engineers at 1-900-I_<3_DROID aka #linaro-android on irc.freenode.net or send me an email at zach.pfeffer@linaro.org. The team really enjoys getting you going with out builds and helping you get the best out of the most innovative platform to come around since the kernel itself.
